Breathe with the Beat is a great way to get busy professionals thinking about health in a way they can connect.
Breathe with the Beat is a practice I developed that synchronizes Music and Yoga to help you master your breathing, become more in-tune with your body, and elevate your wellness. It brings body competency, universal consciousness and the expanded interconnectivity of the world via the internet into a place of synchronicity. Participants enjoy attuning to the rhythm of their own bodies, hearts, minds and breath via soundtracks from great music. The real magic happens when everyone begins to move in rhythm together with synchronized beat and breath. We become ‘one’ movement, one breath and a tangible sense of unity and connectivity is felt by all in the group.
Breathe with the Beat incorporates the seven main energy centres in the body. The rainbow coloured Wi-Fi icon helps give participants a sense of the Breathe with the Beat concept. The movements are simple yet thorough, the core focus is movement through the 13 main joints of the body. Everyone can ‘do’ it. I have mapped Breathe with the Beat into everyday language that people can understand. I find that when I use technology as a metaphor - it’s a lightbulb moment for my students. This can be a pathway to understand the wisdom teachings of the entire yoga system.
